Interview with Business Link London

Business Link London were an invaluable source of information and support when I decided to go into business. So I was flattered when they asked me to feature in their latest magazine.

I highly recommend the courses they offer on a range of different topics that suit those incubating an idea right through to those experienced in business.

You can read a case study on Brittique.com here.

Grazia loves Nicola de Main

Grazia magazine seems to have it's favorite designers and promote them over and over. Luckily Nicola de Main is one of those designers. Shown here is her white shirt for Brittique.com. Unfortunately it has sold out now, but there are plenty more of her amazing creations.

Also shown here is the Wilbur and Gussie silk clutch which is available at Brittique.com now.

Aimee McWilliams for Brittique in Vogue

Finally we've featured in Vogue (British May edition) courtesy of Aimee McWilliams. Shown here is the striped shirt in white. While the emails have flooded in for the white one wouldn't you know that we're only stocking the black! It will be available later this week but you can pre-order this beautiful shirt here.

sucker for a sample sale

I've gone and done it again. It being buying too much at a sample sale! Brittique has a couple of rails at Secret Sample Sale so I popped in yesterday just to see how the sales were going. That was fine and I left, but then some force made me go back inside and look at everything for sale.

That's when I found the Katarzyna Szczotarska rails again. This time was no different. I fell in love with everything. I bought these four items and could have bought so much more.

I don't know why I don't stock her label and I must do something about it for next season.

Picture 1 is a lovely sports inspired jacket

Picture 2 is the Katarzyna Szczotarska dress with Gil Carvalho Avon shoes and Anya Hindmarsh bag

Picture 3 is an amazing gold silk sheath dress with wrap straps and again, my Avon shoes - I'm getting a new gold clutch from my friend Maria from Ignes Bags that will work well with this for the evening.

Picture 4 is a pinafore wrap dress that has these loose front pockets that drape over at the front. Shown here with my vintage scarf, Camilla Staerk red flats and Bally handbag.

Kylie's shoe in The Times

Gil Carvalho's Ivy ankle boot will always be know to me as the "Kylie shoe" after Kylie's elegant size 3 foot stepped out in them recently.

Here they are featured in The Times Magazine today. I love mine and feel strong and sexy stepping out in them. Get your pair here.

Elle features Nicola de Main and The Branch

Both Nicola de Main and The Branch do generate a lot of press just because they are so unique. The Branch's timber jewellery is so unlike anything else that it is a favorite with fashion editors.

As blogger Vyque from Fasshonburu pointed out, Nicola's designs are so playful with an amazing silhouette.

The Nicola de Main Sport Puff dress is available shortly so email us to be on the waiting list. The ring by The Branch is available now.

Tata-Naka in Grazia

As you may remember from my letter to the editor (published under the wrong name!) I have been banging on to Grazia for a while about the need to support new designers. It seems that they're finally taking note. Tata-Naka's signature print swimsuit featured in the 2 April edition.

It's no secret that the Georgian twins are among my favorite designers with a unique, fun and quirky style. While I don't have this swimsuit, I loved this print and so we have the sweatdress, strapless bloomers and scarf all in the muscle men.

Doctor Who star in Julia Clancey dress

It's always nice to see one of our dresses being worn out and about. The beautiful assistant Martha Jones in Doctor Who, Freema Agyman, wore this stunning Julia Clancey frock to the preview of the new Doctor Who series.

The Julia Gown will be availble on Brittique.com shortly. There are only a limited number so email us if you would like to put your name on the list.

Now Lindsay Lohan wears Brittique

First it was Kylie wearning the Gil Carvalho shoes, then Colleen soon to be Rooney was wearning Amanda Wakeley at her birthday party. Now I can't confirm this for certain, but the pink dress Lindsay Lohan is wearning here looks identical to the Maria Grachvogel dress available on Brittique.com. What do you think? Is it the dress?
